  • No penalty doubles below 2NT except the following:
  • After XX or BOP
  • Double is never penalty after opponents preempt or bid & raise
  • 1m-(X)-XX denies 4-card major, so 1D-(X)-1H could be 10+
  • Forcing passes, pass is encouraging for offense vs X discouraging for offense, or when forced to level fast arrival is weaker
  • Balancing 1NT could be 10-15
  • Against Precision 1C, X for majors, NT for minors
  • (1C)-1M-(P) 1NT is cue everything else is natural
  • Scrambling 2NT. (1S)-P-(2S)-2NT can be 2-suited vs X at least 3 in each
  • Jump reverse is self-splinter 1-1NT-3
  • 1A-1A-3NT, gambling bid
  • Don’t pass at 2-level with singleton in their suit
  • Not in comp Jumps:
  • 1C: 2D-Criss Cross, 2HS-WJS
